Ok,....this transmission will not fit as is.I am working on a solution.

Yes they fit in the trans tunnel just fine.[you can fit a late 80s gm style

6 speed w/a corvette bellhousing w/no mods]Yes you wiil need to fab a new cross member using the stock mount just as I do w/ the 83 turbo T-5 trasmission. And yes anything is possible if we [uS Z GUYS] put our heads together.

The company Im working with said we can deal w/the bell housing issue

two ways.1st-cut the end of the bell housing off and graft a 83 T-5 end back

on w/proper welds and support braces.[braces with-in the bell]2nd make a

plate to attatch to the end of the bell [after its been cut down to size].

clutch?...you ask..guess what-the input shaft diameter is the same!!

However the lenght is longer which can be made up with the lenght of the bell.As to what year clutch kit would work best.....could be almost any year that the inner diameter of the bell will allow.also depends on what depth the bell is cut to. And yes a custom drive shaft will be needed.

Only one fer-sure way to get stuck pins out.

sawz-all,lots-o-heat and a 20ton shop press.

Actually, there are now at least two fer-sure ways to get the spindle pins out.

The old Sawz-all method, and the Spindle Pin Removal Tool method.

Zs - ondabrain, amazing movie!!!

That engine looks like a 350 chevy with a roots supercharger on it and Im guessing he's making 300 to 500 horsepower. Too bad though the exhaust note sounds like sh**, the engine sounds as if it's weezing (I think thats a word :nervous: ) at low revs .

The ulimate intimidation vehicle :devious:

These transmissions will not bolt to any other engine except the rear

wheel drive VQ35DE found in the 350z,G35's,trucks and suv's.

Any chance the modern Z six-speed will bolt up to the RWD platform QR25DE engine found in the base model 05 Frontiers? I know the QR comes with a FWD 6-speed in the Spec-V and the 4.0L V6 05 Frontiers come with a 6-speed option (presumably the same tranny as the Z). Is that bolt pattern the same on the QR25 as the on VQ35?
