My question is... was there no blood?

I'm sure there was blood. No doubt you've worked on your car or been doing yard work and really nicked yourself and drawn blood. It's kind of a shock to your system and it takes you a moment to analyze the damage and realize that you still have all of your fingers. It looks like a little chunk has been gouged out of your hand so you go wash it off and put on a bandage. In an accident like this the guy probably figured a piece of wood or something flew up and hit him on the chin and he may have even been thinking, "wow, I'm sure glad that wasn't a nail that hit me when the gun went off accidentally". The entrance wound for something like this (or even a gunshot) can be quite small.

My favorite story was the one years ago about the guy that showed up in the ER with two 2" staples in his marble bag.

When asked how they got there, the patient explained that while pleasuring himself on a belt sander (wonder what grit feels best?) his marble sack got caught and splilled his marbles on the floor. The stapler was near by and he thought it should work to retain the collected marbles.

Remember that idiot in San Jose a few years ago that killed himself by trying to beat somebody's car with a shotgun? Darwin's theory at work. And he was in a BLUE state!

No I don't remember it. I live 20 miles from SJ and read the newspapers daily. Anyone have a link to a story about this? or is it just another Urban Legend?

PS Even BLUE states allow RED people to cast votes. This is the funnybone section, so don't take things so seriously.
