Is anyone else experiancing loading problems with Active Threads on the front page.

Active Threads appear be mis-aligned with recent links & recent content, causing a squashed, un-readable last column in Active threads.....

I haven't got anything squashed but the pages take a long time to load.

Well, no, but I'll take advantage of this thread if you dont mind!! Mike, how come the pictures uploaded into our galleries are compressed so much now? They're really poor quality JPG's now! Are you trying to conserve space?

Not really trying to conserve space... I did upgrade to a new version of the gallery and maybe it got tweaked. I'll see if I can find a setting for it.

EDIT: I just found the setting. It was at 70% quality. Considering that most images are ALREADY compressed... I set it to 90% quality. You should see better images now.

Thanks Mike. So the server compresses them huh? Next time I upload I'll upload uncompressed jpg's then, so that they aren't compressed twice. Thanks for the very fast response!! :classic:
