Does anyone know the weight differences between the different year 240z's?

I know that they did get heavier as they got newer but dont have actual numbers to see the differences. Smog issues, bumpers+brackets etc, obviously made a difference. Just wondering how much. Also, do different L24's weigh more or less than others or have power differences when it comes do driving experience. E31 vs E88?

Thanks in advance.

Series 1 240's, from 70 to early 71 are 2200lbs from memory.

In regard to the weight of L24 engines. I think they would be the same stripped down to the block and head. The only difference being the type of carbs even that weight would be minimal. You would have to think that the L28 would be the lightest block. The bore is bigger, so you would lose weight there. The piston is bigger but that would still be less than the iron removed from the bores. But but the stroke is longer so add some extra weight on the crank. Not much in it I would hazard a guess.
