i just got my driver's license (turned 16) in 1970 when the zed came out.one year later my neighbor had a silver zed and he let me drive it once.( really cool car i though at the time during my long hair hippy days) the first and last time i ever drove one.now 30 odd years later and a year of searching for a zed in canada i've looked at four road worthy cars and not one seller has let me drive it.only ride in the passenger seat.i can't understand why, could it because i'm crosseyed and wear coke bottle glasses? My father bought his 72 in 76, and I was almost born in the passenger seat. I don't suppose that puts me in the Z era, but I've loved 'em since. I now have my 72, street (slightly modified), and a SRL (see avatar). I guess maybe I just fell in love with Datsuns all together.
