Murph Posted January 25, 2005 Share #3 Posted January 25, 2005 The later cedric model certainly looked better, but that's still very cool none the less.
sblake01 Posted January 25, 2005 Share #4 Posted January 25, 2005 Bill just doesn't appreciate the 'seldom seen' Datsuns. That car would be a big hit at the local Nissan/Datsun shows. Thanks for the pics.

Gav240z Posted January 25, 2005 Share #8 Posted January 25, 2005 Anyone seen the Australian film the big steal? The guys folks own a Cedric and then they buy a new car and give him the Cedric however he wants a Jag and trades it in. The parents loved the cedric and are very upset and try to get it back.FWIW I don't care much for the cedric myself.
sahunt66 Posted January 26, 2005 Share #9 Posted January 26, 2005 A Cedric, huh. I've never heard of one or seen one here in the States. I like it, pretty classy ride. That one looks very original. Probably belongs to an old lady who only drives it to church on Sundays. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Mr Camouflage Posted January 26, 2005 Author Share #11 Posted January 26, 2005 Probably a hand me down, like what Gavin was talking about in that movie. When Nissan released the Cedric foriegn markets in the 70's they renamed them as numbers like the fairlady, so the Cedric became the 240C, 260C and 280C. So the C stands for Cedric. Lucky for us they didnt call the Fairlady the 240F.
26th-Z Posted January 26, 2005 Share #12 Posted January 26, 2005 Speaking of Fairlady....What is a Cedric? Why would you name a car "Cedric"?
