April 26, 200222 yr comment_6232 Thats my big project of the day.. figure out all the possible offsets I can use with fender flares etc... but I can tell you this much, I had 225-50-15's mounted on those Hitler looking Swastika rims on my '78 280 with absolutely no problems. It looked pretty decent too even though it was'nt lowered... go forth Danielson, and mount thy tires, and spanketh that Mustang! April 26, 200222 yr comment_6237 I think you would probably want a 15x7 wheel with a zero offset. Gets the tire in close on the inside and will give you plenty of fender room. I don't have mine mounted yet for my car so I can't give an accurate asessment on how they look or fit. I have 15x7's with 225/50 15's and the wheels are zero offset. April 30, 200222 yr comment_6399 I have 225/50/15's on zero offset 15X7 wheels on a 280 that is lowered 1.5". I have almost the same amount of space between the tire and fender as I have between the strut retainer and bump stop! About 2". The tires DO NOT sit clearly INSIDE the fenders. They woudl probably rub if I had enoght travel.steve77 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/1480-2255015/#findComment-6399 Share on other sites
April 30, 200222 yr comment_6428 It does depend on your offset doesnt it... it would help to know what hes got on there, but as far as Datsun turbo 15" rims go 225-50 works fine with no problems, used them for years on many different Z's:sick: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/1480-2255015/#findComment-6428 Share on other sites
