After dinner tonight, we were sitting out on the front verandah enjoying a coffee when Barb said, "Look Rick ------is that a U.F.O.?"

Being a Si-Fi buff I got all excited and searched the sky without seeing anything and asked, "Where, where, where?"

Stretching out her arm and pointing her finger she answered,"There-------Ooohhh no!"

She realised that the U.F.O. was closer to her face than her outstretched, pointed finger.

Her U.F.O. was, in fact, a BLOODY FIRE FLY !!!!!!!!!!

the thing I think that is scary is when they show you those "invisible flying sticks" that are captured on video and film.

How well do "invisible flying sticks" photograph? If they can be seen then I agree thats scary.

They are usually seen in videos of outdoor scenes, viewed in slo-mo. I don't remember if they were ever seen indoors but I think -that- would be even scarier.

I can't believe anyone would be concerned about the "flying sticks".

They are nothing more than insects flying through the camera frame.Thats why they always have those scalloped sides,it just the wing movement caught on film. Thats also why you will never see any caught on real high speed camera's. :stupid:

:sick: This reminds me that I almost got rearended by a minivan yesterday evening while trying to make a left turn into my neighborhood. I had my blinker on and looked in the rearview mirror to see the van barreling up behind me and then closely going around my right, followed by another car. They made a big dust cloud along the shoulder. It was scarey, for me and the Z.

I've got one question about UFO's. Why do they always seem to have lights on the outside? If a 'civilization' is that advanced, do you think they really care about the F.A.A. or other civil air authority lighting regulations? If they can fly across the galaxy, surely they can see in the dark to land here. IMO, if it has lights, it comes from here.
