They had an interview with the lady who sued this morning on MSNBC. She lives 10 miles from town in a rural area. The girls hid their car, jumped the fence and a creek/ditch snuck around back and pounded so hard on the metal back door as to leave dents -- all this at 2 a.m. in the morning. The woman, no spring chicken herself, lives with her elderly mother. Now I know we (in the U.S.) are a lawsuit happy nation, but maybe she had a case. The girls never appologized even though the lady tried to talk with them three times before the court case. She knew one of the girls, but not the other. Even though I don't advocate it, out here in rural Okanogan County, someone comes pounding on your door uninvited is just as likely to get greeted with a shotgun or a large dog. The girls did not use common sense. The welcome wagon should come during daylight hours. Most of the people who called in to comment figured the lady should have been awarded tripple damages. The girls have yet to send payment.

Now see what the TV media has gone and done to poor OLD Mrs. Young, by broadcasting so much paranoia based propaganda (look out, there may be terrorists in your front yard!!! Details coming after this commercial break)......made her so paranoid she's scared to death of a shadow and a knock on the door at 9:30 PM...and in Durango Co. on less....come on, you've got to be kidding!!! I wouldn't be surprised if the judge is a Young family member...or maybe Mrs. Young provides flute tunning for the judge, if you know what I mean! Maybe the paranoid bit_ _ should just move into the local police station for a better sense of security? :stupid: ROFL :stupid: ROFL :tapemouth

If it was 9:30 that's a somewhat different matter, but she said on the news this morning that it was 2 a.m. Makes a bit of a difference. Of course I didn't read the entire article, but will do so now. Gary

Oh, I see...your siding with the OLD lady are you? What makes you think she's telling the truth??????????? :tapemouth

Hey newspaper BOY! Aren't you the one that started ranting about it being 2:00AM...not me! I happen to just READ the article that mentioned the girls started their little escapade at 9:30 PM. No wonder the news is as unreliable as it is, when we have folks like you working on them. :stupid:
