Looks wonderful. By no means do I intend to be a jerk or a critic by saying this one but, you get what you pay for. Althought don't get me wrong, it looks great

Andy

Well this paint job still cost $2500 it is with good paint (2 stage) and good prep, slipped them a little extra to make sure.

I'm still waiting on the pin striping.

...........guess the "good prep" didn't include masking off the muffler

The muffler and the gas tank on the other side. They will repaint them silver.

They are also correcting some minor blemishes. This is not a frame up restore, its just repainting a relatively clean car to begin with that had faded paint. I plan on driving this car almost daily, (I rotate between 3 Z's) but this is my most fun car. Its meant to be a 5/5 car 5' or 5 mph it looks great if you inspect it with a microscope you will find some flaws.

Since it will see significant autocross time I don't expect the paint to remain perfect for long. Maybe someday I will go the whole way but I forsee the next 5 to 10 years this paint job holding up just fine.

When I had my Z painted in 1998 I went to a highly recomended shop in Ontario, Ca. They removed all the trim, marker lights, etc., without breaking any of the pins, masked everything impractical to remove, including the muffler and tank, and used high quality paint with integrated clear coat. I paid less than half of what you paid and it still looks good today. In fact, when I bought the 810 in 2003, I also had it painted there.

Paint will burn off it and you will still have blue muffler

No. if the paint burns off, then you will have a muffler with no paint on it, not blue paint..... that is unless only silver paint burns off???

Paint job looks great, like the color!
