It's my understanding that it is a a Ferrari replica in the movie, not the real thing. They used four replicas in the movie -- they were powered with Ford 5 liter V8s. Fiberglass bodies with no Ferrari logo, according to a website on the movie.

sonofzzzap, maybe my vision is poor, but it looks to me as though you may have a pretty restictive connection between your header collector and the 2.5" pipe coming out of it! Just an observation.

A great sounding solution, as I ran that same setup on my Z over 10 years ago, but not the best for performance. I suggest 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 all the way back to a flowmaster muffler. You'll get a great sound with improved performance.

Replica Ferraries with a Ferrari like sound dubbed over. That is the standard way of doing thing in movies when the car is too expansive to use the real thing. The California spiders are $1 million+ cars. Other movies have dubbed sound too, like Cannonball run. The Lambos and ferraries sounded awesome in that movie, mabey too good.

I would love to have my car sound that way. I might copy your setup some day. I have the flowmaster now along with all the other z's in town. I would like to sound different from them but good too. A set of tripples, big cam and high compression sound great too, part of the reason older Ferrries sound so good. There is a guy with a F355 that autoxes accasionally. His car his very stock and is not very impressive to listen to, sounds like a Honda. Smae guy has a 240 with tripples and a bigger cam, when it gets above 5500 or so it really starts to sound good.

well, this was my solution until I could afford a better muffler... I was thinking of maybe a 30 series, they have a different sound than most flowmasters... they're only 80$

thats understandable, but I would think that it would flow alot better than the old rusty stock exhaust I had before. I dunno, maybe I should have had them do it a different way...

Another "F" word to avoid! Really... on Hybridz.com, you read of reports that the "Enzo" people will complain greatly ( as in lawyers/law suits) because EBAY had a replica for sale on there with the Enzo decals or even just a yellow patch the shape of a shield! Even using the "F" word on your Ebay car auction gets you some warnings.
