February 12, 200520 yr comment_112455 Isn't there a couple of bolts at the bottom that secure the bell housing to the metal plate between the engine and trans? On mine there is.Manpower. Wiggle it back and forth, twist side to side. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14972-engine-tranny/#findComment-112455 Share on other sites

February 12, 200520 yr comment_112474 I have used a large screw driver to pry the tranny back from the engine, be gentile though. once it started to go back I used my hands from there. Did you unbolt the rear trans support from the unibody? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/14972-engine-tranny/#findComment-112474 Share on other sites
