Alfadog - The tyres can produce 1.5 - 2.0 lateral g. In Car and Driver, they did a write up on 2001 formula 1 ferrari, that car depending upon the rake of the front and rear spoilers could produce around 4 g.

26th-Z - Hmmm, as radical as the new Renault is, I'm still going to put my money on the Ferrari (hey! they were unbeatalbe last year :devious: ) and the B.A.R Honda, and maybe the Williams BMW.

If you wanna read up on all the new formula 1 teams cars go to www.fast-autos.net, than click on "more motorsports," there you'll find some nice write ups about all the cars and teams this year in F1.

12 more days! Woot Woot :)

That car is wicked! Really cool design, thanks for the pics, haven't been into F1 lately but I enjoyed them.

O for goodness sake! All F1 cars look nearly exactly the same (tusk-nosed williams of '04 was an exception) - its just the paint schemes that vary!

Halz:

You ae correct that many of the cars do look alike, but due to significant rules changes this year, the cars look different from last year. I am sure that many will look similar this year also, just different from last year. Yeah, that Williams nose on the 2004 car was different, wasn't it. Too bad it didn't work worth a $hit. LOL Oh well.
