Posted February 19, 200520 yr comment_113429 Hi folks. Does anyone know of the biggest wheel and tire combo for A 240z with coil-overs and rolled stock fenders.I use the car for autocross ( SCCA SM2 ). I currently run 15x7 Panasports with 225x50x15 Victoracers, however with current competition, I don't think this enogh rubber. Any thoughts would be appreciated. February 19, 200520 yr comment_113430 245/45/16 with a 16x9 rim. Put flares on and you could go to a 275/45/16 on a 16x10 rim; that seams to be the set up I have seen a lot of people use in that class. February 20, 200520 yr comment_113451 i use bfg 275/50/15 front and back with coil overs, 1 off flares and 150-175 tension springs on a daily driver . they are on the edge of being too big. i will likely go with the 265/50's next time. i do not autocross be aware of the wheel moving within the tire's range off cusion when sidewalls get as tall as the above. http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.aspcheerscdavid Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15046-whats-the-biggestwheel-tire-combo/#findComment-113451 Share on other sites
February 20, 200520 yr comment_113547 Handy Thanks Dave! I'd recommend that site to anyone after a sound knowledge of just what all the numbers and letters on your tyres and wheels mean. Very handy for matching tyres to rims or going to different profile tyres. Cheers, Jim.
