Posted February 20, 200520 yr comment_113490 I am changing my 180 to a R200 Limited Slip diff. I have the correct mustache bar. The info says I need another front mount and a rear mount. The rear frame member I have is straight across. The drawing shows this piece to be curved (around the diff cover?). Anyone got a pic of this part and the front mount? I need to know what to look for and what to ask for. Thanks! February 20, 200520 yr comment_113516 The Zbarn carries the curved rear bar for $25. I bought one from them to change over to a 200 in my car. The diff. I bought already had the front cross member on it so I never realy looked at the difference between the old and the new. February 21, 200520 yr comment_113585 The transvers link is what you are refering to. You should have the curved one unless you have a '70 or early '71 240. There is a member that makes a vary cool transvers link that will allow you to use the finned cover on the lsd. He has a hi-bred Z. Infact he is the one that came up with the spindle pin remover tool that I have to loan to members. It's been so long , I cant remember his name . I will see If I can come up with it . From what I have read on using the lsd is that you need to change the finned cover for a standard stile. I don't know why as my R-200 is not a LSD. If in fact you need a transverse link that is curved like the one Bambi's picture shows . I have one , you pay the postage and it is yours. I ended up with an extra one. Just send me a PM Gary Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15051-changing-from-a-180-to-r200-need-some-part-pics/#findComment-113585 Share on other sites

It functions as a brace for the Transverse (A-Arm) Link Mounts. Dave at the link above calls his part an Aluminum Rear Brace.
