Ok, so im new here. Been looking around for a good forum to check this out and see whats up.

From what i hear. The motor is new and tranny has been rebuilt. It's in need of a paint job(its orange ) and paint isnt in too good of shape. And the interior needs some work but nothing too bad. Original wheels, wipers, you name it...except the motor and tranny I have the chance to pick it up for 750. But i need to do some work on my 300zx and sell it first.

$750 would be a good deal even if you were just getting the rebuilt engine and transmission!

As for paint, it can range anywhere from $400 (Maaco) to thousands of dollars, depending on what you want done and what quality. Also you should eventually be making the decision of how much of the car you want painted, like just the exterior or engine bay too, ect. The more you do the longer it will take, but the better the end product, and the longer the car will last.
