My first z was a 74 260 2+2..At time I was greatful to get that because the body was in such good shape..But to be honest that is not the body style that I ultimately wanted.Ugly, well that is subjective....I agree that everyone has their own preferecne , so It just depends on what you as an indivudula are looking for..

Here Here Escanlon, No matter what people say a Zed is a Zed and in my experience people are just jealous. For the dollars you pay what other car handles that good goes that fast and looks great and is 25-30yrs old. Like em or love I have 240 now so I call the 240 the Zed and my 2+2 the Fairlane, I love it........

Put me down as first to say they are.. Im buying this one just to play with and turn around and sell to finance more goodies for one of the coupes in my garage...gotta love Australians and their callous sense of humor--"humour" to you guys right??--haha

I don't think they are that ugly. You DO have to install new rims and tires to make it look better. The stock narrow rims just don't look that good. Take a look at mine after I did a little work to her. Click HERE to see it.

but they are god awful ugly cars. its just a sin to do that to a Z.

i will say on the other hand i have seen a few. and i mean a few that do look good though. it all depends on what you do to them i suppose.

Seriously, they aren't that bad. The car is completely Z man... In fact, I'm amazed at how many things they did better than the early model Zcars. Ya, the hatch area might look wierd because of the modified roofline. But, the car is great.

I dunno, maybe I like it so much because it's been soo long since I've driven a Z.

I have 6 2+2's and 17 coupes from 70-81 and I love them all. The 2+2 at a low angle looking backwards look like the old Jag XKE. I think its good we have variations so everyone won't look the same. Z on.....

I have a 240 & a 260 2+2

both a beautiful in their own way. the 240 is clean with uninterupted curves but the 260 has something too. hard to decide. I think I'd better get a 280ZX just to have a balanced outlook. As for prisons...................when it was announced that you would be transported to Australia for committing a crime, crime increased 10 fold in England just to get out of the rain.
