What's the best polish after clear coat?

I am in the process of painting my z and I was wondering if anyone could recomend a method and a product that will be best to polish the clear coat once it's done. How long after spraying the clear shoud I wait? I have a HarborF polisher.

Procedure is in a thread(use the search), and I am too tired to type it again! I use Meguars paper, and compound.
