Posted March 1, 200520 yr comment_114537 Hi guys,I've decided to buy 15x7 Konig Rewinds. Just wondering which color you would pick? I have the factory yellowish/green tint looking color. I can't decide on gunmetal with a polished lip or silver with a polished lip. The car is all stock body wise.I think the silver will make the car look classier, but the gunmetal may make it look more track/race car tough. But would the gunmetal clash with the yellow? Which do you think would look better? Thanks for the opinions,Jay Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15147-gunmetal-or-silver-rewinds-on-a-yellow-car/ Share on other sites
March 1, 200520 yr comment_114541 MMmmm.. I personally think gunmetal looks MEAN especially on yellow but if you want a nice "cruise" look.. and for occasional shows... silver will look great. gunmetal grabs more attention Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15147-gunmetal-or-silver-rewinds-on-a-yellow-car/#findComment-114541 Share on other sites
March 1, 200520 yr comment_114544 On your car - I say Silver. But you know, what kind of look do you want? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15147-gunmetal-or-silver-rewinds-on-a-yellow-car/#findComment-114544 Share on other sites

I think if it ever stops snowing enough for me to pull the z out of the garage i need to snap a side shot and photoshop them on to see the difference. I just can't picture them in my mind. I definately love the mean look, but i like that clean look as well. Arg, decisions decisions! Keep the advice coming, and if you know of any pics of gunmetal or silver wheels on a yellow 240 (They dont have to be rewinds but similar) send them my way. Thanks, Jay Edit: Victor you beat me to it! Nice looking z. March 1, 200520 yr comment_114578 Hmmm if it were my car I'd go Silver but the gun metal gray would look really good too. As Alfa said it's your choice you have to be happy with it.Photoshop is a good idea but sometimes you need to see in person. March 1, 200520 yr comment_114594 Silver IMO; the gunmetal wheels always look dirty to me. The silver looks clean and crisp. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15147-gunmetal-or-silver-rewinds-on-a-yellow-car/#findComment-114594 Share on other sites

March 1, 200520 yr comment_114605 Here's a shot of my car. It's not the lime yellow, it's the more true yellow color with silver Panasports. Not exactly the same, but it should give you a pretty good idea. The gun metal Rewinds look like my Pana's with a healthy dose of brake dust. Personally, I like the silver look a lot better. I have an early 240 myself...popped out of the factory 3215 cars before yours. Is this a shoot of you drag racing your toy? Jayru.....I think you should forget the Rewinds and go with 22" spinner type bling bling wheels! Oh, and don't forget to get the 130 db sub woofers so you can annoy everyone around you. Just kidding of course...Silver looks like the general consensus!!!
