March 1, 200520 yr comment_114612 I would say Tokico, but since you have Konis on the back , why not get the same for the front? You should be set since you have the springs already. Besides suspension, work on the brakes as well... get yourself some new vented rotors (slotted crossdrilled like to crack with extended wear is what I have read doing research). and toyota 4x4 calipers, some carbon metallic brake pads and stainles steel brake hoses. I also recommend picking up a good front sway bar, the stock rear one will do you fine. I think Victoria British carries the biggest front sway bar you can buy, you might wanna check it out. The MSA kit is pretty good too. You may want to convert the rear to disc if you have the money, otherwise just invest in drums and new brake shoes. I hope this helps you as far as brakes and suspension goes! March 1, 200520 yr comment_114614 Capt Mark,It was nice to meet you at ZFest. I've got Suspension Techniques Sport Springs and anti-sway bars installed on my car with standard KYB strut inserts (non-adjustable). I also installed a complete urethane bushing kit (including steering coupler), which I think I bought through Victoria British about seven years ago. I'm very pleased with my set-up.Cheers, Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15151-new-setup-what-i-have-what-do-i-need/#findComment-114614 Share on other sites
March 1, 200520 yr comment_114642 Capt Mark,Check out ebay. I got a master set of Energy Suspension PU bushings for about $135. As far as shocks go, I would match up the Koni's for the front. As long as you will have the whole suspension pulled out of the car, you might as well put in new ball joints and tie rods too. Once done you shouldn't have to touch it again for a very long time.Marty Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15151-new-setup-what-i-have-what-do-i-need/#findComment-114642 Share on other sites
