Posted March 1, 200520 yr comment_114643 Just wondering how many people are stuck in front of there tv playing gt4 like me. This game is awesome, it has an amazing selection of cars and tracks. I just beat the 70's japan cup with a 240zg. I am currently at 24% with all the license's except the super class. We should start posting some datsun times, such as 1/4 mile and maybe the Nurburgring. Which is probally one of the most amazing tracks. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15156-gran-turismo-4/ Share on other sites
March 1, 200520 yr comment_114648 Personally speaking, sitting in front of a CRT playing video games is not my idea of being productive! I think this is one of the reasons we have so many FAT kids now days...incapable of doing much more than pushing buttons and downing twinkies. Sorry for the rant, but I'll attribute it to the "Generation Gap"! :tapemouth Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15156-gran-turismo-4/#findComment-114648 Share on other sites
March 1, 200520 yr comment_114650 I have the game. It really is amazing, the graphics are so close to real life, and sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between the two. It is not nearly as fun as real life driving, but for a simulation most people can afford, its damn good. I am not getting fat playing the game, because I am a responsible person and I know when to stop. As for the generaton gap, It is not as big as you think. My dad is 46 and he plays as often as I do. March 1, 200520 yr comment_114654 I heard it's great except that you can't damage the cars. XBOX is coming out with a similar that lets you crash. But what do I know. The only racing games I ever play are Mario Kart MIchael Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15156-gran-turismo-4/#findComment-114654 Share on other sites

Im 6'2" 185 pounds hardly fat, also im a bicycle messenger I usually ride about 50-60 miles a day on my bike. So lets just say im probally in better shape than about 90% of the general population. I do like to sit in front of my CRT after a long hard day at work and play gt4, for this I apoligize. Sorry for my little rant. Back to the game I just ran the 240zg in the 1/4 the best time I could manage was a 10.869 not to shabby. Interesting that you took it personally and thought I was stereotyping you! I only stated that I think this practice provides our society with fat kids. There is no need for you to varify your fitness to me as I never questioned it! Insecurities do have a habit of revealing themselves. :nervous: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15156-gran-turismo-4/#findComment-114663 Share on other sites
March 1, 200520 yr comment_114664 GT4 Comes out here in Aus next thurs. My brother has it pre-ordered (word has it lots of shops will sell out before thurs). We aren't usually the type to sit down and play computer games, but lets just say that just over a week before the game is out we are more than a little excited... Has anyone had experience with the logitech steering wheels? March 2, 200520 yr comment_114696 I have a steering wheel. I think its a logitech but I am not really sure. I dont like using the steering wheel over the normal controlers. The worst part about the steering wheels is that you need to use two feet with the pedals. Most people use only one foot to drive an automatic. Maybe some are better than others.
