for that don't know, in addition to the racing simulator where you can be either driver or team manager, you can also take your cars to a specific area in the game and set up a photo shoot for it and then download the pictures to a USB jump drive to get them onto your computer and on the internet...

that's what "trs" did to get those pics of his brown ZG

Maybe it is set up for drifting? Alot of people get this game soley to drift.

Here is a forum dedicated to gt4 drifting. There are some pretty good drifting videos on there as well, people just use a analog capture card to upload most of them.

I took the 240 around Nurburgring, ended up doing it in 8:08 pretty bad it was late. Im going to give it a few more shots, low 7 minute time's should be possible with the car.

Personally speaking, sitting in front of a CRT playing video games is not my idea of being productive! I think this is one of the reasons we have so many FAT kids now days...incapable of doing much more than pushing buttons and downing twinkies. Sorry for the rant, but I'll attribute it to the "Generation Gap"! :tapemouth

I think all the garbage that passes for fast food these days has more to do with that. Than and bad parenting.

I have an old Force feedback logitech for my PC. Its really good. Then they changed them to have a small electric motor to provide the feedback, which makes a weird noise when you turn the wheel. My old one has some sort of electromagnetic dohickie to frovide the feedback.

But either way. playing driving games without one is lame.

I'd be curious to see how I stack up out there. I did a 7:31 on hard slicks and a 7:13.350 on super softs. Not exactly a "clean" run, but the Z gets airborne a lot on that track and it is super squirrely on super soft tires. My sandbag is I'm using a joystick just in case someone gets into the 6's....

Yup. Another self confessed driving sim junkie here (although these days I'm lucky to get 1 hour behind the wheel :( )

I used to rally Dattos and a Daihatsu Charade. When the kids came along, I decided that sitting in the shed rebuilding cars till 2am didn't hold as much appeal for me as it used to :ermm:. Driving games seemed a good way to get some cheap thrills with a bit more flexibility than a state rally season.

Totally agree about not letting kids sit in front of a TV/computer all day. My kids are so energetic (almost feral on some days) there's no hope in hell they'd ever get fat (despite my 6 year old son eating 5 weet bix for breakfast on many mornings). They're lucky to get 1 hour of computer games a week.

Oh, my weapon of choice is a Logitech Momo Racing FF, and my game of choice is GPL (Grand Prix Legends). It makes all other driving games look like toys - even 6 years after its release date.

As for the driving setup, well mine is shown here:

The white Z is kick arse. How did you get it I can only get the red one you win. I have not scene a white one anywhere in the game. Also who makes the wat's?

7:13 around the ring huh im going to have to step it up :) Do you have all the aids off or on? I run all aids off and also im stuck with a regular controller.
