No Voltage at Fuel Pump

I was given a 1979 ZX that is not running.. I tested the fuel pump and it was shorted out. I got another one, replaced the old one and now I have no voltage to the fuel pump. The fusible link was blown, so I replaced it. But still I have no voltage to the pump. I haver tried to trace the lines to it but can not see where the break is or the problem with it.

I would appreciate any help anyone can offer.. I am stumped and am not sure where to go next.

Does the engine turn over when you turn the key? I ask because I had a similer problem with my '76 Z and it was frustrating trying to troubleshoot. It could be a wire coming off of the battery, or it could be a fusible link (if you're ZX even has them, I'm not quite sure). Just a mere connecton problem gave me hell for a while.

Also, there are relays for the fuel pump, and the initial signal for it comes from the ignition relay. As far as locations, I'm familiar with 280Z's and 810's but not ZX's.
