Jayru Posted March 16, 2005 Share #13 Posted March 16, 2005 What kind of wheels were on that white 240? Rewinds or Wantanabe's?
Alfadog Posted March 16, 2005 Share #14 Posted March 16, 2005 Rewinds I think. They're not Watanabes. It does look slippery, what I'm concerned about is the crash damage on the *right* side of the car! I guess another car came afterwards and hit him from behind by the looks of it
1GENZED Posted March 17, 2005 Share #15 Posted March 17, 2005 They look like panasport's.It sounds like he's going to fix it.

MikeW Posted March 17, 2005 Share #17 Posted March 17, 2005 This is a cool video....http://www.sr240z.com/videos/images/260zt.wmvI recognize that video as the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. The tunnel is "Fort Mountain Tunnel" just west of Asheville. The speed limit on the entire parkway is 45mph as there are lot of bicyclists and people driving slow enjoying the scenery. cremmenga Posted March 17, 2005 Share #20 Posted March 17, 2005 I also have some footage at http://www.viczcar.com/Videos/2004/Meet3/meet3.wmvI have another video to compile that I have been meaning to get around to for ages now it's a much better video with more Z's and I do a little burn out too . Hopefully the Z Nationals here in Australia will have some good footage to bring back as well as pictures. I know you asked for historic film but it's very hard to find i've found well not on the internet anyway. I love this video, i must have watched it 20 times, its like a whole herd of bad asses coming to take over the streets!! I WANT IN!!
Gav240z Posted March 17, 2005 Share #21 Posted March 17, 2005 Cheers mate I'm glad you enjoyed it. I honestly spent maybe 30mins editing it on my PC the soundtrack just happened to work. If you come to Australia your more than welcome to join our club . The next video is actually a whole lot better it's just getting a copy and capturing it on my PC it's a friend of mine's brothers video tape so I've gotta get it off him. That was actually a really bad showing for one of our cruise days only 4 cars made it. The weather was pretty poor so probably the main reason. The last cruise we had was awesome wish we had video footage but unfortunately we didn't have a camera on the day. Hopefully the Z Nationals will have some good footage
Gav240z Posted March 17, 2005 Share #22 Posted March 17, 2005 As for the 260zt video i cringed when i saw that. The tunnel does look wet maybe it had rained earlier and the tunnel was still damp. Looks like a good case of understeer into the wall and someone obviously smacked the back of the car too. They look like Panasport rims too.The turbo set up was really nice what a shame the car got so bent. I'd probably be looking for a new shell after that.
Gav240z Posted March 17, 2005 Share #23 Posted March 17, 2005 Then there's always my site which has many of these and MANY other Z videos collected from all over the web. http://www.pape.ws/allan_and_rosanne/Z-Car_Stuff/ Wow where did you find all those videos? Tommo560 Posted March 17, 2005 Share #24 Posted March 17, 2005 that 260zt vid looks like he mounts the wall and puts it on its side. if you watch the camera movement and look and the damage on the left of the car, there is non, only on the front (would be more if he scraped the wall) which also suggests the car went sideways.Tom.
