Does the word 'interface" ring a bell to you guys?

We use it in French to descibe the visual aspect of a PC/MAC software ex:Microsoft windows interface or DOS ascii one

I have to translate it in Worldish English but cannot seem to find the right word!

So is it the same ?????

Yes, It means the same. Interface refers to communication. How you interact and the format of interaction with another or machinery. The controls, gauges, steering backfeed and pedal feel is your interface with your Z, while driving.

Yes, in english interface is defined as "forming a common boundry of two bodies or spaces". So in english if we want too different items to work together we want them to "interface". I believe this is how you are wanting to use the word. JLP
