Overall i'm very happy. Since i bought her i've been sorting out a lot of little bugs. This prevented me from driving more than a few blocks the day i bought her.
I finally finished the alternator conversion today, so she was up and running. I went on about a 30 min cruise, got to go through all the gears, get her up to speed, take some turns, it was really enjoyable.
The car feels exceptionally tight. The original PO really kept up on almost all mantainance stuff. The rear springs are shot though, i was bottoming out quite a bit. I have some new Tokicos that'll fix that
A lot of wind/road noise comming from the hatch area as well (How could i fix that?)
I was dissapointed with the power though. The car still needs a tune up, but i thought it would have felt much faster. Seems like it's a real chore to make power up top (Kinda slow/slugish). I hope the tune up and petronix i have planned fix that, she's definatly too slow for my taste :devious:
Just thought i'd share,
Jay
