I bought gasket sets for both of my z's from Z Specialties and they fit fine. They advised me to use Sil-Glyde and it works really good. You can buy it from Napa and it comes in a squeeze tube. Use it on the door ones and the hatch ones as well. You have to make sure that your doors are adjusted properly, and lube your door latches too, that makes a big difference. Are your using the PRP gaskets,or did they come from another manufacturer. I tried some from VB a couple of years ago, and I had to slam my door so hard I thought it was going to break all the glass in the car, not just in the one door. I returned them and got my money back.

The ones VB sells are Precision Replacement Parts (PRP) brand. I think the ones from Z Specialties are the same PRP brand also. I haven't seen any other brand of weatherseals for Z's (except OEM).

I saw the OEM ones on Zbarn. They were I think about $65-75 each. They are the ones I will be getting when I get there. Call Roger at zbarn (1-800-247-2793 sales@zbarn.com) and see if he has them in stock. He is great guy to deal with.

I wonder if they make the MSA ones where the welting is built into them....(PRP).....curious, has anyone reading this bought the welting built into them ones from MSA?

What do the OEM Nissan ones cost?
