April 1, 200520 yr comment_119088 The lense is not the problem it's the chrome that is hard to find in good shape . If some one could reproduce the metal chrome bars they could make a bunch. April 14, 200519 yr Author comment_120470 Here's a pair in eBay now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4542170282&category=34207WTF??? The seller yanked the lenses off EBay with just 24hrs to go! I had top bid too, damnit! Didn't have a "buy now" price either.  Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15494-driver-tail-light-lense-availability/?&page=2#findComment-120470 Share on other sites
April 14, 200519 yr comment_120481 He probably thought he would get more for them, so he ended the auction so he wouldnt have to sell them to you for $10. Not much you can do about it. I dont think ebay has a policy that covers it. April 14, 200519 yr Author comment_120491 It was up more than $10. I have no idea what a set of lenses are worth generally, but my attitude is that if he had a minimum price in mind, he should have stuck a reserve on them. All I can say is that if I don't get a response to my PM, what he WILL get is a negative feedback report! Found this on Ebay: Note: Sellers are not permitted to cancel bids and end listings early in order to avoid selling an item that did not meet the desired sale price. This is considered to be reserve fee circumvention. Although there are legitimate reasons for ending a listing early, abuse of this option will be investigated. For sure I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill, I just need to vent! The lenses look real nice, at a decent price, and would have looked REAL nice on my new baby. April 14, 200519 yr comment_120493 You are not making a mountain out of a molehill by expecting a seller to do what he said he would do-I have done the same thing many times. Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15494-driver-tail-light-lense-availability/?&page=2#findComment-120493 Share on other sites
April 14, 200519 yr comment_120498 You are not making a mountain out of a molehill by expecting a seller to do what he said he would do-I have done the same thing many times.WillI second that! Frist step: ask the seller about the situationSecond step: if the reply (if you get one) is not reasonable, report him Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15494-driver-tail-light-lense-availability/?&page=2#findComment-120498 Share on other sites

Feedback can only be entered for "completed" auctions. (i.e. auctions that have been won, and then can only be left by the winning bidder)If the jerk had a Buy-It-Now that you had used, he simply would have stiffed you like what happened to Will. "Oops, I broke it, here's your money back." Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15494-driver-tail-light-lense-availability/?&page=2#findComment-120501 Share on other sites
