Posted March 31, 200520 yr comment_118981 Ok all you Aussies(and Kiwi's maybe)Since all Aus Z's had the smaller bumpers (240 style) for all years 70-78, can you guys find these bumper with great regularity at junkyards or even for sale in local classifieds easily? Did the mounting brackets change from year to year? Is there a mounting bracket used in the later years that used similar mounting places (on frame) to the 280z bumpers in the USA? i.e. same mounting location but with only a bracket instead of the 5mph shocks used here.Thanks. Z parts in a wreckers. Not bloody likely! Though you can find 260z 2+2 bumpers in the classifieds, but you usually have to buy the whole car. March 31, 200520 yr comment_119046 Devildog, the US got more Z Cars in 1970 alone than Australia got from 1970 - 1978!! I saw a 2+2 in a wreckers, once. It had no doors, bonnet, fenders, windows, interior, engine, suspension, brakes...... April 1, 200520 yr comment_119062 It's worse finding parts here in New Zealand for any 70-78 zed. None at the wreckers. Local Nissan dealers and an absolute waste of space i.e "a 240 what?" they say with a blank expression.Freight would kill it also. I'd be scanning the US website and breaker yard if I were you. April 1, 200520 yr comment_119081 Yeh, decent coupe bumpers are as rare as and will be several hundred $ each but most are at least dented and require rechroming. Which costs several hundred Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15503-down-under-bumper/#findComment-119081 Share on other sites
