I'm just wondering on how hard it would be to fit a small block into my 260, or an RB25det? Would it be worth trying to fit the v8 or the RB25det?

the swap is supposed to be pretty simple. The best conversion kit is from Jags That Run. The kit is for a small block 350, it drops to engine and mounts is up against the firewall for better weight distribution. You would need to get a new driveshaft made and the only transmission that goes in without modification is the Checy Turbo 350 (3-speed auto)...but if ur gonna do the V8, i feel that automatic takes away all the fun. Be forewarned...itll be one helluva beast with a V8
