April 8, 200520 yr comment_119889 Looks very nice! What size wheels (dia. & width) and tires? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15580-gunmetal-was-soo-the-right-choice/#findComment-119889 Share on other sites
April 8, 200520 yr comment_119891 Sweet! Love the body color too. Mine was repainted, but I can see that it was that color originally. I've considered a color change (as best as I can describe the PO painted it what I call "Metallic Campbell's Tomato Soup Red"), but when I showed my wife the ORIGINAL color the car was painted, and I suggested I might like that, she literally threw something at me. April 8, 200520 yr Author comment_119892 Looks very nice! What size wheels (dia. & width) and tires?15x7 with 225 50's. I have plenty of room and could have went 245's. The 225's lean in a little because of the rim width, 245's would have sat more flush on the lip. I'm very happy though. April 8, 200520 yr Author comment_119897 Can you get center caps for those?I have them and think they look like crap on the car (Their big and chrome) I prefer the wheels without'em. Maybe if they were gunmetal. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15580-gunmetal-was-soo-the-right-choice/#findComment-119897 Share on other sites

April 14, 200520 yr comment_120528 They look awesome! If you got them from MSA, a few questions:1. Why 15 and not 16 inch diameter?2. Why not Koenig Rewinds? Almost half price and look almost exactly the same?Just curious because I'm going to be getting wheels very soon and your input would be appreciative.
