Posted April 10, 200519 yr comment_120089 Hi I just sold my Z but kept the triple webbers. I will be storing them for a long period probobly and I am wondering if there is anything special I need to do. Right now I just plan on getting all the gas out and doing a little cleaning. Thanks in advance for any help or advice. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15596-storing-weber-carburetors/ Share on other sites

Clean them well & pop them in an air tight bag with a heap of silica gel to absorb any moisture that tries to get in. I'd remove all the brass jets, lube the threads and put them back but only finger tight.Maybe there is a product that you can also spray coat them with to stop the aluminium corroding. I'd look that up to see. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15596-storing-weber-carburetors/#findComment-120101 Share on other sites
