Your add is all about performance and competition, yet there is no performance competition. its all shine and show. Where is the Solo II, or/and track day. Come on ZROC don't just be 'wanabe's get involved in the performance world.

Lowell, as we have said in the past at the club meetings if you want a "track day" please set it up. The cold hard fact is the majority of the club members have not express an interest in Solo 2 events or we would have them.

We did look into a track day but the price of track rental as well as insurance would have priced the event out of sight.

We again would be happy to have any help from you in setting up events in the future, be part of the soulution not the problem.

No, that is not the way it works in the club and you know it.

The club has had multiple opportunities to advertise/support and encourage by putting on the calander such events. It just won't do it.

It is all about the leadership supporting such events and encouraging participation.

And, if members really don't want anything to do with same, then they just won't attend. However, the leadership won't support and promote them. So who knows for sure?

No one else but the leadership has the ability to put such events on the calander and promote interest.

"The club membership interest is a direct reflection of what the club is doing and how it is run"

There are multiple opportunities to piggy back on other clubs events.

Lowell,

As a member of SCCA, I contacted all of the local folks to see how we could them envolved. Unfortunately, they were all booked up on that weekend with Solo events and holding a Miata Club event. I didn't get very far. I also offered to let them come to the event and sell Solo, joining SCCA and talking about getting into racing. No one took up our offer except Hal Auger. He's bring the old 510 down and joining us.

So there you have it. We have a day long event that is a lot of information and maybe a bunch of folks with old Z's that just don't want to push'em around cones! So timing is everything. To bad you left ZROC. We could have used you help setting up a individual event.....we just didn't have the expertise.

By the way, I see from the Observers Stand, you position with the Focus is about the same as the Z.......maybe you should take the Z.....at some point it may just be a pride thing.....even if your stuck in BSP!

Anyway, drag you self down to the show....your always welcome!
