In my opinion its a lot sleeker and resembles the Z more. Sure you'd still have to change the grill, side vents, and fool with the headlights a bit. But if your car even closely resembles this car you'll have a winner. Who knows it might even look better

hmmm, alright first off the wheels and wheel wells are WAY to big. Next the car could benefit from not being so low to the ground, and finally I would suggest raising the roof section of the car (only a bit) as its out of proportion to the body. Okay, I know I sound a bit (very) critical but, its these little things that make the car flow a lot better. In my opinion anyway - don't know if thats worth much, but oh well. Hope this helps. :nervous:

I too have been fooling around with the idea of a concept car, only mine is not centered around the 240/280 Z. Ummm, I'll try and get some pics up soon and get your opinion on it as well.

greatwhite, I am sorry, I would have to disagree with out. It is just my opinion, but I think the low style roof line looks sleek and flowing. I like the low roof design. Although I do agree that the entire car should not be so low to the ground.

If the car wasn't so low to the ground, the proportions would be nice, though I think the rear is too short!

Schevets, The roof does look nice, but if this is to be a practical idea rather than art, the roof couldnt be so low. You be banging your head over ever bump and from the inside you'd feel as if you we're in a dungeon.

Thanks for all the feedback. Did some quick changes starting to move from a quick concept sketch to something that shows some of the volumes of the car so see if its working out. Also while moving from the quick sketch to something more solid I changed some of the proportions to start being closer to a real car. The wheels are still basicly space holders but you can get the idea. Any way trying to make up my mind if I like the over all proportions etc. If so I will start working on the details like head lights.

Another view, the Concept should be 12 inches or more wider than the original, square (or close) track.

Your right it does need to be wider the original is not wide enough. Also what motor does it need cant have a V6 with that long hood. Maybe one of the skyline strait sixs or hmm a Nissan v8.
