April 17, 200519 yr comment_120867 Chris, aren't there some buildings (maybe a garage for 27) you need to design-someone will take you literally, and think rust makes a car faster! No feelings were killed in the production, typing, or reading of this message, any resemblance to even hurt feelings was purely conicidental, and should not be taken as fact. In the event that actual feelings were hurt, damaged, crushed, mangled, mutulated, railroaded, run over, or simply not considered, please accept my humble appology right now, and know that it was not my intention to slap you silly. But, the inclusion of this message in theis thread in this forum was -in fact-a conscious decision on my part, and Mike, his family, those who could be his family, be it by marriage, genetic manipulation, dumb luck, or any other means are not liable for anything I have typed. Please excuse him, all of the members here, and any one you happen to pass on the street (or not) from any responsability for this specific post. Have a great day-unless you don't want to, I hope your car runs like a bat out of hell-unless you don't want it to, I hope you get everything you want for your birthday-unless you weren't born, and in short I hope everything you are after that does not infringe on anyone elses right to do waht they want-comes your way--unless you smoke. April 17, 200519 yr comment_120869 Considering Chris' self proclaimed ability to down 18 beers, it's a good thing you mentioned smoking and not drinking in your disclaimer. April 19, 200519 yr comment_121004 There have been a lot of threads in the past about favorite penetrating oils. The Marine / boat industry has some interesting stuff. PB Blaster is my favorite along with Kroil. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15641-imlost/?&page=2#findComment-121004 Share on other sites
April 19, 200519 yr comment_121006 Have you taken out all of the bolts-the row at the top, the one in the door opening, the two under the Valence Panel(covers the windshield wiper mechanism), and the two at the bottom? There are also those that hold on the headlight bucket(behind the front grill)-if you haven't taken it loose from the fender(3 nuts in the wheel well)-careful of breaking the studs!Obviously a service manual-or the Club CD-would be invaluable in knowing what is holding all of the stuf on!WillPS. PBlaster works very well, but it stinks-don't sneak out to the car to spray something right before a date!
