Posted April 17, 200519 yr comment_120890 I am seriously having a hard time deciding what color to paint my car, I've narrowed it down to either light or dark metallic silverish, black, or a darker blue. I see alot of blue and silverish z's but not many black ones, it just dosent seem to be a popular color so i think i'm goin ta go with either the blue or silver. i'm on a budget (who isnt?) so i dont want anything to complicated but if anyone has some ideas please share. April 18, 200519 yr comment_120895 A short while ago there a member named marixmus was comtemplating the same thing you are. Surprisingly now that I check he was also tryng to decide between a blue and silver. Just from one color alone, picking the shade of that color is a very tough decision in itself. In this thread there are some spectacular photos of blue Zs. I suggest you check this thread out, it should help you in your decision making. Good luckMarximus' ThreadThanks for the link to that thread..couple really nice blues in there. I second the part about choosing a shade of just one color being difficult in itself. I know what color I want my car to be but I don't know the name or the code for it and neither does anyone else. If I could get ahold of Yuki Komiya I might be able to find out. However according to Eric from Zparts.com Mr. Komiya's a very busy person who hardly speaks any english and has made it very clear that he doesn't have time to answer these types of questions. He told me basically to check back every 4-6 months to see if any more info was there yet. Sooo it looks like I'm on my own trying to match it up. I think Martty's is the closest blue I've seen yet with that Midnight Ford Blue :nervous: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/15655-what-color/#findComment-120984 Share on other sites
