May 6, 200222 yr comment_6701 There are varied opinions on what oil is best but i think a 20W will work well. I've used 20W in mine for a while and have always had good performance. Some people use tranny oil and so on. As to how much to use i just fill it to about 1/2 an inch below the lip, any overflow will just run off down the side of the piston, no harm no fowl there. May 6, 200222 yr comment_6704 Sounds like someone used ATF since the oil is red. If you put 20w I would try to get all the ATF out or just use ATF. It probably would be better to not mix them.
