the 240z was made from late 1969 to 1973.. 1974 and 74.5 was the 260z and 75-78 was the 280z. then came the 280zx, 300zx, and 350z. i think you are talking about a 1991 240sx.. which would be a completely different car powered by a ka24de four cylinder. the 240z was powered by a l24 inline 6. a 240sx is an awesome car. is it a coupe or hatchback? im about to drop a sr20det into my friends 89 hatchback 240sx.. good luck

What everyone is implying here but has not come right out and said it is that this is a site dedicated to the Z car. To address your questions and really obtain the best information and most help I (and I'm sure most if not all on this site would agree) recommend that you locate a forum dedicated to the 240SX...I'm certain that there are several as this was also a fine Nissan car and well liked by many. We here don't know much about them nor are most all that interested so I doubt that this site would be of the most benefit to you as opposed to a 240SX site.

Best of luck and if you do buy a Z some day please come back as this is the best Z car forum on the web!

x is prononced z when used in certain words, but 240sx aint one of them.

i had a 240z that my sis gave me a while back.. but i tho it was ugly and gave it to my homie who ask for it.. if i would off knew what i could do with it, i would of ketp it.. but that what happens when u dont know a car...latezzz.....

The S13 (89 - 94 240sx) is a grear car! I've owned 2 (91 and 93) and my brother drives one now (89). 91 had the best motor (better exh. cam). But, you won't find much on this forum. Here's the best forum on the planet for you right now;

theirs a 280 right up my block conner.. looks like it been their everyday with out nobody moveing it. i think it belongs to some old black folks who own a machanic shop.. what yall think, i should give them, an offer on the car..
