Couldn't tell me how much the crank weighs, could you? Been trying to find an approximate weight of a crank(LD28) so I can estimate shipping costs to Australia from overseas.

Box Dimensions for mine were 730 X 240 can't tell you an exact weight but guessing 8kilo's maybe more.

Can't give you the height but I'd say 25 cm

Way off on weight Gav. Texasz said 45lbs, which is about 20kg.

yeah sorry just relaying what i was told on the phone.

I think that must be right it felt pretty heavy and 8kg isn't that much to lift.

Just got back from my friends house in jasper. we decided on a 3.1 litre for his 240 he doesnt have yet! argh!

so jokingly, i say, "hey lets go to the Jasper Junkyard" to "find" a LD28 crank.

yeah right.

So we get there, they are closed. but we *sneak* through the gate. we split up, and about 20 seconds later, i hear "HOLY SH*T"

ran over, and there are FOUR, yes guys FOUR (4) Datsun Maximas, all diseal. I pop the hood on al 4 and yup. the whole engine is there. OMG!!!!!

not to mention there was one non disel that i guess has the N47 maxima head...

Next thing we know, a car drives up and yells, and we run back to the front, its the owner, and we calmy ask for all 4 engines and that head. he says ok. so we got to work.

now im not good at math, but thats 3 LD28 cranks to sell on ebay, 4 diseal intakes, and one maxima head.

add that up guys...cause we only spent $500 on everything....

Do you think you could take a photo of the distributor on the motor? I'm interested in the inside of the distributor ie: under the cap and the black module on the side.

I have a strange feeling this is where one of my distributors came from.

Are you guys going to add links here to the ebay ads when they go up?
