Saw a 74 240z the other day. I took a photo of the VIN plate so I'll post it when I can. Anyone else seen this?

It also had 240z interior door trims but pull handles on both doors... wierd.

Must be one of the last 240's ever..

How could a person tell it was a 74 compared to a 73?

Hence the wierd nature of it. It was definately a 240. It had 240z on the build plate and all the correct 240 parts on it, but the VIN plate said /74. I think it was built in very late 73 but not complianced (or whatever) until 74.

I've never heard of this before and was interested to see if others had.
