I finally did it. My baby is running! It has taken too long, but I have done it. I like many others put the distributor driveshaft on one thread off, but now I am in good shape. This car is running on triple DCOE 45s, and it idles very poorly. It will idle very very roughly at around 550 RPM. I usually hold the throttle down alittle bit to keep it alive.

A few other things I have noticed is that even though I have not driven the car, some oil drips out of the rear diff. Also, I have not seen a very good reading for oil pressure. The reading is too low and I wonder if is correct. Lastly, there is a slow oil leak where the front cover meets the block. Is there any easy fix for this?

In all I am very pleased, and honestly I couldn't have done it with out this site.

Thanks!
