So for the last 4 years I was living with a woman (in sin of course) and she decided to leave the relation ship. She moved out in the beginning of March. She left me, the relationship, her dog, and all the friends we shared as a couple, she has no contact with any of us. On top of that 2 weeks after moving out she was in a new relationship with another guy. I am now cool with all of that but not LEAVING the dog. When I met her she had a big black Lab/Great Perrinies (spelling) cross (as seen in my gallery), now that dog is mine. I love the dog and have been living with her for the last 4 years. I would never let her go. My problem lies in the fact my X left her. I can deal with being left but dogs are innocent animals along for a ride through life that we provide them. Too walk out on her after 5 years of being together is horrible. So I am a little ticked off and venting at the moment. I made my X agree in writting that she (Shara, the dog) has been given to me so the X does not come to me in a year and try and take her back.

Now I come home every day to 2 wonderfull dogs and a great black and white kitty. I was feeling empty now I realize I am full. As I stopped felling sorry for my self (although I am doing that a little here) life started to fall into place quite nicely. I have had an SU problem since I bought my Z a little over a year ago. I got new Ztherapy SU's and the car is increadible. The old SU's were so bad they were hiding the potential of the motor. I am making more power than I thought possible with the new Ztherapy carbs. More power is great and the desicision to get the carbs was a good one but the differential in the car is on its way out. But yesterday I got a call from a fellow Zer, he wanted me to go to a race in Helena MT (125 miles away). I said the diff in the car would blow befor I made it there. So he gave my a nearly perminate loan of his R190 LSD with 3:9 gearing. WOW, THIS JUST FELL INTO MY LAP, NEW DOG, NEW CARBS AND NOW A NISMO R190 LSD. LIFE IS GREAT HOW COULD I POSSIBLE FEEEL BAD WHEN THINGS ARE SO GOOD. To top it all off I have some of the best friend the world could offer and I keep meeting single women from 30 - 40 years old. Perfect I am 35! So in the end I lost one thing but gained too many things to list. The loss was not so bad anyway, we had been on a roller coaster for the last 2 years and it was time to call it quits.

LIFE IS GOOD AND I HOPE EVERYONE ELSE'S CAN BE AS GOOD AS MINE IS TURING OUT TO BE.

good friends and family we would probably suffer much more then we do.

My Ex left me the dog she just had to have . He has been with me now for

over 13 years . Most labs don't last that long , but this old guy has hung in there .

You hanging with Smith and Bowland over there ? I was planning on making it

over there at teh end of the month, but I am not sure all my aprts will be here

Hate to hear that man... Glad you're working through it. Give yourself a year to heal and "find yourself" again. I went through a similar situation, but, throw in the fact that we were married for 11 years (dating over 15). I could go into details... an entire Jerry Springer episode.

Anyway, I feel for ya. You'll be fine after awhile. It sucks, but, it's true.

...and they don't make near as many demands as women, aren't subject to PMS, don't expect you to figure out how they feel either.

Oh ya, they'll wiggle their tail for you all day long and lick your face for no reason at all. (dogs that is)

My X ran off and married my best friend! Of course, I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THE GUY! After 8 years I finally met the real woman of my dreams. She has everything...looks, personality, education, monetary worth, wonderful heart, insane sex drive and sooo much more...AND she loves my 240Z as much as her Porsche Cabriolet.

It didn't take me that long. I divorced in 96 and was married again in 97! My previous wife had very little in common with me and my present (and last!) wife has vitrually as much in common with me as a man and woman can have. I hope that the 'and sooo much more' encompases the things that really matter. The things you mention will make you want to open the door and walk in but they won't make you want to stay in the building for long! I don't know if I would go as far as to say that she loves my Datsuns, but she does have respect for my interests and I do for hers. I don't know if I would go knocking women in general or comparing them to dogs. Regardless of how great dogs can be they aren't interchangable with women. It's just a matter of finding the right one. (Dog or Woman)

Did you read the rest of the post? He's fine!!! Zguitar - you've got a great attitude, looking at the bright side and all. It's not easy to do. I need to try to do that more often

Good luck I broke up with my lady after 5 years and have hit a bit of a dry spell but the 36-42 year old chicks are the best. Less BS to deal with.
