Being a former Boy Scout, it's hard to really do it but I'm thinking of just leaving out the spare and jack on my Z.

I plan to use it for weekend trips and maybe some autocross. The spare would barely get by in a pinch and it's extra weight taking up extra space.

Do most of you keep the spare or just leave it out?

Unless you run into a sharp curb or some other avoidable obstacle most typical flats are caused by picking up a nail and could be fixed with a can of fix-a-flat (hopefully a non-flammable variety).

I can see you being worried about the weight of a spare while racing but I don't see what space savings you'll achieve unless you plan on putting something else in the spare tire well.

They like it better when you use tools from your car to fix it. But you still have to get the spare out of the the lady's car. Then they leave you behind to put your stuff away after they leave.

That's why you use THEIR stuff instead of yours. :classic:

I always use their jack and lug wrench anyway. You always have the oportunity for them bending over to move their stuff out of the way. (Please see forum section "Boobs" and do a full web search for "Up-skirt")

You guys have some strange women out your way. Mid-west girls like it when you bring your own tools.

Don't forget about the kind that would rather have you drive them to a motel while it gets fixed?

Well, they have a choice:

Take the help I'm offering using their tools, or change their own tire while I go have a beer and laugh at them for being so damn lame as to turn down help. It's no skin off my A$$.
