Question to all??? Ok so sometime this up coming week i'm going to have a guy come over to sandblast the undercoating off the bottom of my car. The thing is I don't know how he is going to get under it. I thought about building a rotisery but i don't know how to mount the rear of the car to it since i no longer have a rear bumper or the holes to mount it on. So here is my idea, I took off all the doors, hood, hatch, glass, front and rear suspention, and the engine and tranny are also gone, so basicly just a shell is left and that only weighs a few hundred pounds, so if i get an old bed materis (sp?) and role the car on it's side on top of the materis do you think it will damage or dent anything?? any other ideas guys?????

This is my center console I filled in the choke lever slot and the other holes in front with fiberglass resin, then sanded smooth, and gave it a light coat of undercoating for texture and plastic painted it, then polished the metal and now it is better than new!!

I cant believe you did that! Was there any damage done to the shell or did it work out good??

That method looks ALOT easier than what I've been doing (on a creeper with a torch and a scraper). Nice work. You could get that whole bottom POR'd in no time now!!

Post some pics of how it's progressing.

These are the pics of my kirkey road race seat. It is just sat in there not on any brackets so its alittle low. the other pics are my fuel cell and battery box just sat in there, I think that is how i am going to want them. I'm planning on building the frame for them this weekend.
