June 7, 200519 yr comment_126645 I had my 280ZX dizzy rebuilt by Kim Blough at Idaho Z. I bet he has some. You can reach him at 1-208-466-0004. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16180-280zx-dizzy/#findComment-126645 Share on other sites
June 7, 200519 yr comment_126666 I recently bought one from Danny's Datsuns. I'm sure he has many more. I bought some other items as well and when I was cleaning them up, I realized that a carb heat shield wasn't up to my standard. Danny rushed me out another no problem. He was really good to deal with AND he stands behind his parts. You may look into a tachometer from a "75 or so. I understand that the "72 tach will not work with the newer distributor. Many threads on the subject I'm sure. June 7, 200519 yr comment_126699 I wouldn't just slap one on from a JY, many of those are just worn out. A ZX Dizzy with shaft play is worse than a good points dizzy. Mine was built by Gary Boone, who builds EI dizzys for the roadsters and Z's. Not only is it rebuilt, he also tailors the advance curve.Info and contact at http://www.nowroc.com/Webpages/Techtips/ElDizzy.htmIt works fine with my stock 72 tach Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16180-280zx-dizzy/#findComment-126699 Share on other sites
