Posted June 8, 200519 yr comment_126744 I was just wondering if a 1990 240SX KA24E Throttle Body will work on a 1978 280z and if it does what kinds of things will I have to do. I know I have to grind down the manifold and get a spacer but what other things will I have to do. Thanks Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16204-throttle-body-upgrade/ Share on other sites

June 8, 200519 yr comment_126844 You might want to consider upgrading some other things, as you only get improved performance ( if that's you goal) through equal intake and exhaust. That means if you are using a bigger TB for more flow, your intake (air cleaner stuff) and exhaust should be bigger(if necessary) to match.thx Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16204-throttle-body-upgrade/#findComment-126844 Share on other sites

June 17, 200519 yr Author comment_127663 Also what about the throttle position sensor, can I just use the stock one instead of getting one for a 240sx. The throttle body I got from ebay doesnt have one.
