Looking for a RHS 240Z mirror?

Anyone know a source for passenger side mirrors? 70-71 stock mirror? I know they make them because one of the guys here has one on his 70 Z. I would think they would be available in Japan. Anyone have a source or webpage for these mirrors?

What do you mean by offset base?

This question has been asked several times in the last year or two, and so far no one has come up with a specific part number for a 240Z Right Side Mirror, (that doesn't mean that there isn't one, but no one has come up with the info to post yet).

I think that the regular LH mirror would look just fine on the right side of the car, once you rotated the mirror head (on the "ball" socketwithin the mirrorhead). Of course, you are going to have to drill some holes in your door for this or any mirror that you might find.

There is no Nissan part number for a passenger side mirror. I have spent hours looking and asking-The only ones I have ever found I bought, and are as Carl and Ben suggest-a drivers side with the flag turned around.

I ordered a new mirror from Courtesy Nissan and they eventually returned my money. I never received an explanation. Their charge was 77.68. They returned my money to PayPal. I would like to buy 2 new mirrors. Where else can I go?

I am guessing the they must sell these RHS mirrors in England, Japan, Australia, etc. I can trade one of the LHS mirrors to one of the "right side drivers" for a RHS mirror!

Driving without a right hand mirror is nasty. I keep looking for the image and there is nothing. Got to have a stock mirror, though. It has to be OEM.

I have the US market LH mirror on my RH side. I first saw it done on Tom Clark's beautifull lime green 72. I looks right. It is at a dirrerent angle than it would be on the Left, but you only notice this when you look at the car dead on front. Functionally It's not a good mirror for the far side of the car. Since it's a flat mirror, It's angle is too narrow to see anything. I fixed this by fitting the largest concave "Stick-on" mirror that would fit. Now, I use it all the time.

I would like to put my name on the list for a RHS mirror. Anyone else want one? I feel that someone could do a "group buy" in England, Japan, Australia, etc. and get us a decent price and make a couple of bucks for themselves. Anyone 'overthere' interested?

ENGLAND...

Mirror RH Door EUROPE is

96301-P9100

FWIW... I seriously doubt that they are still available from Nissan anywhere in the world. Just too few of them to begin with, and most likely not much demand for stock when they were available... so most likely NLA
