others have been selling in the $30k range.wonder what's wrong with it.the seller has to know others have been selling for more.good thing i already bought mine,otherwise i might have gone deeper in debt.

Has anyone noticed that this car is being sold by Courtesy Nissan and the statements being made by them?

"Courtesy Nissan holds the privilege of being one of the very few "Z-Stores" in the nation. When these cars were restored they were sold at only dealerships that Nissan felt worthy enough of this vehicle. These distinguished dealerships were given the title "Z-Store". "This Datsun has just over 1000 miles on it since restoration and has been garage kept since the factory restore in the late 90's. The car is in beautiful condition and looks as if it just rolled off the line. The interior color is black and the exterior is Blue (paint code 903). The car comes with the original dealer option slotted mags with new tires. It also is equipped with A/C. Originally a California car, since 1997 it has been in Texas and has had only one owner since factory restoration. The car is currently titled in Texas. You left out the one statement that actually is wrong..

"Approximately only 50 cars were finished by Nissan."

Everyone knows is was approximately 40 that were finished. ;-)

I don't believe that Nissan used original radios in all of the Vintage Z's.

Also, Not sure what is meant by "cigarette lighter disease" but someone mentioned a while back that due to lack of inventory of the early dashes, Nissan used the later 72/73 dashes for the fac..., errr Vintage cars.

I don't think people should expect these cars to be built to the same parts/year specification as the original 240Z's.

My fac...Vintage Z did not come with a radio. However; I tracked one down on the internet and the radio was an original '72 radio with the stock speaker. It cost me a few pennies but it was worth getting the correct radio for that year.Still need to run the speaker wire to the speaker but tested it and it works. Just one more thing to do on my Honeydo List.
