I haven't seen anyone else mention these awards won by our "Award Winning Members" (pun intended), so I thought I'd mention them.

According to SportZ magazine, Scott Moschetto (ZRush) won the "Best Engine Compartment" award at the 10th Annual MSA show this past April. I've only seen pictures of Scott's engine, but it's obvious from those that it fantastically detailed.

It has also come to my attention that Ben (v12horse) won "Best 260Z" at last weekends 2005 Blackhawk All Datsun / Nissan Event. Ben's car was sporting his refurbished OEM Wheel Covers, and Rallye clock. It looked very nice.

In addition, Marc (280z) won "Best 280Z" at the 2005 Blackhawk All Datsun / Nissan Event. This is the second year in a row that Marc's car has won an award at this event. Marc's car is the nicest stock 280Z I have seen in many years

Thank you Carl for the recognition. Marc and I were talking right before the awards ceremony, and I told him that it would be so cool if we both won. Right after that the president of Z of Northern California made the announcement. It was a lot of fun and I didn't go to compete, but I gladly took the award as a compliment. I maintain my 260z, but the award is for the car.

p.s Marc's car is stunning. It is so original, yet it has tasteful modifications. You take care of it very well.

p.p.s. Congrats Scott and Vicky. Your car definately deserved recognition for all of the hard work put into it by both of you. Are you going bring both your Z's one year? One stock and another fully modified would make a great display.

Well done to Ben and Marc both very clean examples of S30's. To Vicky and Scott also congratulations as others said your hard work has payed off. If there was an award for best sounding Z then I think your cherry red 280z would have won that too. I saw a video from MSA a member posted and out of all the v8's and turbo's S30's, S130's Z31 Z32 and Z33's your Z was by far the best sounding machine.

Thanks all for such nice commnets on Scott's car. He gets all the credit since I really didn't do a darn thing on the car. I do clean it so that has to count for something.

Ben , I've seen your car at MSA in 2003 and she is gorgeous :classic: You should be very proud of all you've done.

Marc, that is a fantastic Z.

Congratulations to all owners of Z cars (S30's) they are all winners since they are sitting in your garage rather than in a junk yard or being crushed.

One day even the 27th Z will blow all our minds, right Chris!
