July 2, 200519 yr comment_129332 Mine were in the Nissan labled foam covers as well. They had one small ding but lined right up. The shop that's doing my restoration commented to me about how well they & the new hood fit. Per the guy at my Nissan dealer, they're not shipped in boxes from the Dist Ctr to the dealer. Upon ordering, I was told to expect a couple of dings too. It doesn't mean they're junk, they may require a small amount of body work. I wouldn't fret over it. July 2, 200519 yr comment_129333 dkd021 is right on, no matter where you get replacement fenders there will be minor imperfections, a good block sanding will make them show and a quick coat of glaze and another good workover with the block sander will make them disappear! be sure to use a good long and flat sander. July 2, 200519 yr comment_129344 I got my new OEM fenders about 4 years ago. One of them was busted up in shipment, but, my local Nissan dealer replaced it quickly. The only other problem I had was fitting it correctly. That is a challenge!! July 2, 200519 yr Author comment_129359 Mine had NO damage-not a ding, a scrape, or even tape residue-they came in needing only light sanding, primer and paint-$203 each! I have diaper duty all weekend-I'll check the fit Monday afternoon.WillLet me know how the fit is Will. Might make my decision for me.
